Step into a sacred journey toward the purest essence of your being, in the vibrant heart of the Amazon – a sacred land where the pulse of the forest echoes the rhythm of your own becoming. Here, within this living temple of nature, you are invited to pause… to listen… and to remember.

Rooted in Tantric philosophy, somatic wisdom, and ancestral shamanic practices, this retreat invites you to remember your innate connection to life in its most expansive expression.

Day 1: Initiation Through Water

Entering the Sacred Current

Your sacred journey unfolds the moment you land at Quito International Airport, where a warm welcome awaits from a La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat representative.

After a seamless check-in and a brief orientation to prepare you for your adventure, you’ll board a scenic 30-minute flight to the jungle town of Puerto Francisco de Orellana — affectionately known as “El Coca” – Ecuador’s gateway to the Amazon.

From there, a private transfer will carry you to the banks of the mighty Napo River, where your true crossing begins.

For two and a half hours, you’ll glide downstream in a motorized canoe, immersed in the living pulse of the rainforest. During this journey, a thoughtfully prepared box lunch and refreshing beverages will nourish your body as the river’s rhythm softens your edges and welcomes you into the wild within.

Natural Sanctuary Arrival

At La Selva’s main dock, a silent paddle canoe awaits, ready to carry you across the water’s final stretch.

This calm passage is a sacred threshold — a moment to listen deeply as the jungle begins to whisper your name.

Upon arrival, you will be embraced with cool towels and be given a sacred Amazonian elixir along with freshly prepared, nourishing snacks. The lodge manager will warmly welcome you to La Selva – your sanctuary for transformation.

Once settled, a Naturalist Guide will share foundational wisdom about the Amazon biome — the sacred land now cradling your journey.

As daylight softens, we come together for the first Circle of Initiation — a gentle welcome to the path of Rewilding.

Somatic Yoga Masterclass:
The Call of Water – Flowing with Life

You’ll be introduced to the first elemental portal: The Call of Water. This Somatic Yoga Masterclass invites you to attune to the fluid intelligence within your body.

Through intuitive movement and breath, stagnant energies dissolve, resistance softens, and space opens for emotional flow — an embodied prayer of trust and surrender to life’s currents.

Water Blessing Ritual

As the sun dips below the horizon, we gather at Garzacocha Lake, where still waters mirror the jungle’s soul.

In this sacred setting, you’ll participate in a Water Blessing Ritual — an opportunity to anchor your intention, release expectations, and let the waters carry away what no longer serves a purpose within you.

This baptism is a portal into presence, inviting your heart to begin anew: soft, clear, and surrendered.

Night Canoe Ride

Under the cloak of night, the lake reveals a different kind of magic.

Guided by gentle light, we glide across its surface, witnessing the quiet stirrings of nocturnal life — caimans, owls, bats, and other mysterious beings of the dark.

The forest breathes its secrets under the stars.

Remembering the Heart, Awakening the Vision

Wake Up Call
Breakfast
The Inner Flame: Cacao Ceremony

We begin the day with a sacred walk into the rainforest, crossing the serene waters of Mandi Cocha Lake to arrive at the Hidden Sanctuary of Mandi Forest.

Here, cradled by whispering trees and the medicine of cacao, we gather in a circle to awaken the heart through The Inner Flame — a ceremony of remembrance and return.

Cacao opens the gates of feeling, softening inner armor and illuminating the silent voice within.

You’re invited to explore your heart’s landscape not as metaphor, but as sacred truth — where silence speaks and the body remembers its essence as whole.

Lunch
Element of Air:
The Art of Seeing Clearly

In the afternoon, we ascend the Observation Tower, suspended between earth and sky above the emerald canopy.

Guided by the element of Air, we participate in a contemplative practice to clear the mind and awaken our inner vision.

This is a meeting with clarity, where the vastness before you reflects the unclouded truth within: open, spacious, and infinite.

Star Wisdom: Listening to the Night

Weather permitting, the radiant stars emerge in the silence of night.

You are invited outside to breathe with the cosmos and feel your belonging to something vast and eternal.

This is not mere stargazing — it is soul-gazing. A moment of intimate awe. A prayer without words.

Dinner

Day 3: The Call of Earth

Rooting to Bloom

Wake Up Call
Breakfast
Parrot Clay Lick & Visit to the Pilchi Community

The morning begins with a visit to one of the Amazon’s vibrant natural rituals: the Parrot Clay Lick.

Here, in a stunning symphony of color and wings, parrots gather to feed on sacred clay that cleanses their bodies — a vivid reminder to listen deeply to your own needs for healing and balance.

From here, we journey onward to the heart of the Pilchi Amazon Community. You will be welcomed into ancestral ways through storytelling, traditional dress, and sacred foods.

This is not simply a cultural visit — it is a true exchange, where curiosity transforms into communion and respect becomes prayer. You are invited to witness, honor, and remember a way of life deeply rooted in harmony with the living Earth.

Lunch
Yoga Masterclass: Rooting to Bloom
The Call of Earth

As the sun begins to set, we gather for a somatic exploration guided by Earth.

Through grounding postures and breath-infused movement, Rooting to Bloom reconnects you with your inner soil — your roots, truths, and source of vitality.

Gently, you will discern what nourishes and protects your authenticity and what must be released to allow your being to flourish.

This is an embodied remembering: you are supported, you belong, and your roots are sacred.

Dinner

Day 4: The Art of Alchemy

Transforming Your Inner World

Wake Up Call
Breakfast
Coto Trail – A Journey Through Living Medicine

We set out along the sacred Coto Trail, which winds down from the lodge to the edge of the serene Garzacocha Lake.

Walking beneath a cathedral canopy of soft light filtering through leaves, the ageless mystery of the jungle comes into focus.

Your Naturalist Guide will share stories of the creatures inhabiting this ecosystem, while a Native Guide reveals the ancient uses of medicinal plants — whispers from Earth passed down through generations.

This is more than a walk — it’s a pilgrimage of wisdom, where every step is a prayer and every leaf a page in the great book of life.

A peaceful canoe ride follows, carrying you gently back along the waterways into reflection, integration, and reverence.

Lunch
Cacao Ceremony:
Elemental Rewilding – The Art of Inner Alchemy

In the golden rays of the afternoon light, we gather again in circle.

Through sacred cacao’s warm embrace, you are invited into the heart of elemental transformation.

This is The Art of Inner Alchemy — a journey guided by the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether.

With each sip, cacao opens the inner senses, revealing how these forces shape not only the jungle around you but your emotions, breath, and bones.

As your heart softens, you’ll awaken the alchemist within — the part of you that knows how to feel, transform, and return to wholeness through presence and grace.

This ceremony is a prayer in motion—a sacred remembering.

Here, within the jungle’s wild mirror, your inner world begins to transmute — softly, powerfully, and reverently.

Closing Ritual: Blessing of the Waters for Your Path Ahead

As dusk settles, we gather once more.

Through a water blessing ritual, we honor both the path left behind and the journey lying ahead.

Water — the great mirror and memory keeper — receives your prayers, intentions, and gratitude. In this sacred offering, you release what no longer serves a purpose within, and invite clarity, trust, and softness to move forward with grace.

The jungle has witnessed your becoming, and now the waters carry it onward.

Departure Briefing

The lodge manager will gently share details of your return journey, while the bartender offers a handcrafted farewell elixir — a toast to the completion of this sacred cycle.

Dinner

Under the jungle sky once more, we share our final meal — a quiet celebration, a soft landing, and a remembering that what has awakened within you will continue to bloom far beyond the forest.

Each bite, each sip, honors the deep transformation now living within you.

Departure for Coca

Following the guidance shared during last night’s briefing, we begin the journey home.

Lodge staff assist with your luggage and accompany you by motorized canoe upstream along the Napo River.

As the water flows beneath you, let this passage be a moment of reflection — a gentle transition between worlds.
